Reader’s Theater: Social Skills and Executive Functioning Group (ages 7-9)
Mondays 4:30pm - 5:00pm
Participants play acting games and have fun pretending while being guided in using different executive functions in this interactive class. Players transform themselves into different characters as they practice inhibitory control and attentional flexibility while engaging working memory. Finally, everything comes together as students learn to bring familiar stories to life as they read, comprehend and perform reader's theater.
Cost: $30 per class
Parent-Toddler Groups
Thursdays at 9:45am
A parent-toddler play and communication group that is relationship based and child centered led by our speech-language pathologist, Jacki Rubin. Each week will focus on a different foundational skill or strategy for communication, such as joint attention, regulation, and reciprocal interaction.
Cost: $35 per class
Music Themed Play Group
Thursdays at 4:45pm
Cost: $35 per class
A group for preschool and kindergarten-aged children to develop communication skills through music led by speech language pathologist and singer-songwriter Alex Fam. Kids will learn communication skills, develop vocabulary, and build friendships in this inclusive group.
