Christina Stavrakas, owner

M.S., CCC-SLP, Speech-Language Pathologist

Christina received Bachelors degrees in Music and Psychology from the University of Rhode Island. After a brief career as a performing musician and strings teacher, she completed her Master of Science (MS) in Speech Language Pathology with a specific focus in supporting autistic children and families.

Christina is an ASHA Certified Speech-Language Pathologist licensed in MA working with young children, school age children, adolescents, and young adults. Her past clinical experiences include working in public schools, sub-separate special education programs, home-based settings, and clinic-based settings.

Christina has extensive training in the use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and is passionate about providing training to parents and staff to empower students to communicate. She is also passionate about using an executive functioning approach to therapy in order to address the unique underlying challenges impacting communication disorders. Christina has trainings in the Lindamood-Bell Visualizing and Verbalizing® program, the Natural Language Acquisition framework through Meaningful Speech®, and is recognized as a Natural Language Acquisition (NLA) Practitioner following completion of the Level 3 course created by Marg Blanc, M.S., CCC-SLP.

Outside of being an SLP, Christina enjoys spending time with her family traveling, hiking, and spending time outdoors. She is also a performing musician in local orchestras and in the Legacy String Trio.

Andrea Stavrakas

M.A., Certified Dyslexia Specialist; General and Special Educator

Andrea holds a Master of Arts (MA) focused in Educational Psychology from New York University. She is a certified teacher in general education and special education with 30+ years of teaching and tutoring experience.

Andrea is passionate about quality literacy instruction for students. She has a history of working in the primary and secondary education industry in general education and with students with mild to moderate disabilities. She is a certified Wilson Level I and II instructor and credentialed dyslexia specialist and therapist. Andrea is additionally experienced in interventions for students with math disabilities as well as curriculum development.

In addition to her years of teaching experience, Andrea is skilled in public speaking, teacher training, and educational advocacy. Her speaking appointments and trainings include working with The Arc Rhode Island, Framingham State University, The Teachers Gallery in Quezon City, Philippines, and The Education Collaborative in Dedham, MA.

Outside of her professional work, Andrea enjoys reading, going to the beach, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Alexandra Fam

M.S., CCC-SLP, Speech-Language Pathologist

Alex is an ASHA Certified Speech-Language Pathologist licensed in MA working with young children, school age children, adolescents, and young adults. Alex’s past clinical experience includes working for Boston Public Schools with preschool and elementary aged children. She has extensive experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), presenting professional development on the topic of AAC, and collaborating with both school staff and parents. Alex’s clinical interests and experiences include working with children on the autism spectrum, expressive and receptive language difficulties, language delay, stuttering/fluency, social pragmatics, articulation, and literacy. Alex also enjoys working with children in group settings to support social development and friendship building.

Alex has a Masters of Science (MS) in Speech Language Pathology and certification as a Reading Specialist from MGH Institute of Health Professions. She is also a singer-songwriter and visual artist who is passionate about using artistic mediums to engage students and help them fully communicate who they are.

Jacki Rubin

M.S., CCC-SLP, Speech-Language Pathologist

Jacki graduated from the University of Florida with her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Jacki is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and has received training in leading therapeutic methodologies including PEERS®, Social Thinking®, DIR/FLOORTIME, PROMPT, and The Hanen Approach as well as received her yoga teacher training from The New School of Yogic Arts in Brookline, MA. Jacki is very passionate about utilizing her knowledge and highly empathetic spirit to support children and parents through parent coaching and dyadic work. She weaves her passion for nervous system regulation with her knowledge of mental health, speech, language, and social communication to create a dynamic therapeutic approach that is child-led, developmental, and relationship-based. Jacki believes regulation is the foundation for communication development and she hopes to help children  and parents make meaningful connections through attunement, presence, and co-regulation.

Outside of work, Jacki enjoys spending time with her daughter, husband, dog, and friends. Her hobbies include yoga, live music, expressive writing, art and spending time in nature.

Anna Mucciarone

M.S., CCC-SLP, Speech-Language Pathologist

Anna is a Speech-Language Pathologist who is certified by the American Speech- Language-Hearing Association and is licensed in the state of MA. Anna received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The College of New Jersey before relocating to Boston to earn her Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Emerson College.

Anna’s experiences have included providing services to individuals within school, in-home, and medical-based settings. She primarily has experience working with children in the areas of expressive-receptive language, fluency, social communication, and speech sounds. Anna’s approach to therapy is providing fun and functional, person-centered care to best meet the needs and goals of individuals and their families.

When not working, Anna enjoys doing anything outdoors, taking trips to the beach, and spending time with her family, friends, and cat.

Kallie Dimaris

Administrative Assistant

Kallie is an undergraduate senior at Boston University studying Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences. She is passionate about the field of speech language pathology and in the process of applying to graduate school to become a licensed SLP. Kallie has many experiences working with children in an educational setting and hopes to one day work as an SLP in private practice.

In her free time, Kallie enjoys hiking and exploring different parts of the world. She aspires to travel to all seven continents and so far has visited five. Kallie also enjoys visiting family and friends in Nevada and Washington.
