Courtney is a dedicated and licensed educator with a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) from North Carolina State University, specializing in K-6 general education. She brings over seven years of experience in bilingual education, passionately fostering inclusive learning environments that embrace linguistic diversity.


Trained in the Wilson Reading System, Courtney adeptly applies structured literacy techniques to support students’ reading and writing skills. Her expertise is particularly impactful in her work with students for whom English is a second language, helping bridge language barriers through compassionate and tailored instruction. Courtney also has years of experience supporting students with mild to moderate disabilities, ensuring that all learners receive the dedication and resources they need to thrive.


Before embarking on her teaching career, Courtney earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the University of Texas at Austin and gained valuable professional experience while working in management consulting. This background equipped her with strong skills in organizational management and strategic planning, enhancing her ability to design and deliver effective educational programs.


Outside of the classroom, Courtney enjoys playing volleyball, running, and exploring Boston and greater New England with her family.
