
Christina received Bachelors degrees in Music and Psychology from the University of Rhode Island. After a brief career as a performing musician and strings teacher, she completed her Master of Science (MS) in Speech Language Pathology with a specific focus in supporting autistic children and families.
Christina is an ASHA Certified Speech-Language Pathologist licensed in MA working with young children, school age children, adolescents, and young adults. Her past clinical experiences include working in public schools, sub-separate special education programs, home-based settings, and clinic-based settings.
Christina has extensive training in the use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and is passionate about providing training to parents and staff to empower students to communicate. She is also passionate about using an executive functioning approach to therapy in order to address the unique underlying challenges impacting communication disorders. Christina has trainings in the Lindamood-Bell Visualizing and Verbalizing® program, the Natural Language Acquisition framework through Meaningful Speech®, and is recognized as a Natural Language Acquisition (NLA) Practitioner following completion of the Level 3 course created by Marg Blanc, M.S., CCC-SLP.
Outside of being an SLP, Christina enjoys spending time with her family traveling, hiking, and spending time outdoors. She is also a performing musician in local orchestras and in the Legacy String Trio.
