Andrea Stravrakas
Educational Coordinator
Andrea holds a Master of Arts (MA) focused in Educational Psychology from New York University. She is a certified teacher in general education and special education with 30+ years of teaching and tutoring experience.
Andrea is passionate about quality literacy instruction for students. She has a history of working in the primary and secondary education industry in general education and with students with mild to moderate disabilities. She is a certified Wilson Level I and II instructor and credentialed dyslexia specialist and therapist. Andrea is additionally experienced in interventions for students with math disabilities as well as curriculum development.
In addition to her years of teaching experience, Andrea is skilled in public speaking, teacher training, and educational advocacy. Her speaking appointments and trainings include working with The Arc Rhode Island, Framingham State University, The Teachers Gallery in Quezon City, Philippines, and The Education Collaborative in Dedham, MA.
Outside of her professional work, Andrea enjoys reading, going to the beach, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
