Speech-Language Pathologist
Alex is an ASHA Certified Speech-Language Pathologist licensed in MA working with young children, school age children, adolescents, and young adults. Alex’s past clinical experience includes working for Boston Public Schools with preschool and elementary aged children. She has extensive experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), presenting professional development on the topic of AAC, and collaborating with both school staff and parents. Alex’s clinical interests and experiences include working with children on the autism spectrum, expressive and receptive language difficulties, language delay, stuttering/fluency, social pragmatics, articulation, and literacy. Alex also enjoys working with children in group settings to support social development and friendship building.
Alex has a Masters of Science (MS) in Speech Language Pathology and certification as a Reading Specialist from MGH Institute of Health Professions. She is also a singer-songwriter and visual artist who is passionate about using artistic mediums to engage students and help them fully communicate who they are.
