Alexander Rabinowitz

Alex is an ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist (SLP) dedicated to helping individuals across the lifespan connect through independent communication. He earned his bachelor's in Communication Disorders from SUNY New Paltz and his Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from CUNY Hunter. Alex has worked in various settings, including outpatient clinics, schools, and private practice, across New York and Boston.


He takes a collaborative, neurodiversity-affirming, and evidence-based approach to therapy, focusing on empowering young communicators through play and meaningful experiences. With experience in alternative and augmentative communication (AAC), speech and phonological disorders, gestalt language processing, aural (re)habilitation, cognition, and hearing assistive technologies. Alex fosters strong relationships with clients and their families to create an environment of authentic communication.


In his free time, Alex enjoys biking around Boston, practicing American Sign Language (ASL), exploring new bagel spots, and spending time with his cat, Zadie.
